Where you are welcome for a service...
or for a lifetime!

Saint Paul's is a historic, downtown Parish located on the Riverwalk. It draws its members from throughout Richmond and the surrounding counties. We welcome you to worship with us and join us in community. The facility is fully accessible for those with disabilities.

Together, we continue to carry out the mission of this parish, a welcoming Episcopal congregation, "to proclaim the Good News of God in Jesus Christ in greater Augusta and beyond."

We invite you to join us for worship throughout the year. Please download our brochure for more information.

Mentoring in our schools

Volunteers are needed to help with a new mentoring program that will take place at various elementary schools after school until 6 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The program targets children who are in need of extra attention. The hours you can donate can be flexible. Students who need credits for community service are encouraged, as this is an excellent opportunity to help younger children. Volunteers must complete a background check in order to help. Please contact Anita Tanner at AnitaandWendell@aol.com or at 706-993-5720 to volunteer or for more information.

Choirs Resume

The Saint Paul's Choir begins its new season August 25 at 7:00 pm. This is "tour year" with the choir traveling to the Pacific Northwest and Canada next June to sing at three Anglican cathedrals. New singers are needed and Keith Shafer can answer your questions (706-724-2485 x 215.) Child care is available for parents with younger children - make this a free night out, have a good sing, make our worship more exciting, and enjoy the fellowship of the choir.

Saint Paul's Ministry Fair

Parish Luncheon - September 12: Newcomers and visitors are especially welcomed to "Discover Saint Paul's Sunday" when we emphasize fellowship, introduce youth to teachers, and promote the many ministries of this congregation with an invitation to become involved.

There is a new face in the Nursery!

The Nursery has been undergoing some changes this summer including the addition of a new Nursery worker, Talesha Ashley! Talesha is a welcomed addition to our nursery staff and we are looking forward to seeing her smiling face on Sunday mornings. Please stop by the nursery and introduce yourself and help us welcome Talesha to the Saint Paul’s family!

...And They Were Sent Out Two by Two...

Please welcome the newly ordained. The Right Reverend Scott A. Benhase ordained Dr. Robert F. Polglase into the Sacred Order of Deacons on Friday, August 20, 2010 and Dr. William K. Dolen into the Sacred Order of Priests on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
