The Martha Guild

The Martha Guild meets for fellowship and to plan and prepare events that nourish the life of the church. It is an extension of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) that has always been at Saint Paul's. It follows the tradition of Saint Cecelia's Guild which served in this capacity for many years.

The ministry of this guild is hospitality. Members are called on by the clergy to cater receptions for various events, most notably those following the Evensongs which occur in October and February.

Martha Guild members support the Bereavement Committee in preparing food and assisting families during illness or the death of a family member. Martha Guild members can be found either organizing or supporting many church events.

For many years, as part of their mission, the Martha Guild has supported a child from Our Little Roses, an Episcopal Ministry in Honduras. This is done in conjunction with the Outreach Committee.
