The mission of the Outreach Committee is to respond to human needs in the Parish,
the Diocese, and the World, to serve the poor and the marginalized with love,
as we support the Mission of Saint Paul’s Church, to spread the good news of God in Jesus Christ.
VETERANS
OUTREACH
The focus of this program to is to provide fellowship at regular events
at the Georgia War Veteran’s Nursing Home. We have a party for
these disabled veterans four times each year and always include their
favorite ice cream. Many of these veterans have served in World War II,
Korea, and Viet Nam, Contact June Newton for more information.
LYNNDALE
We have developed a strong bond with Lynndale West, which is an
independent living facility for developmentally challenged
adults. We have devotional and classes for residents on life
skills topics such as money management, safety, and cooking. Most
importantly we just enjoy being with them and having fun. They love to
sing and party. Contact Margaret Jordan for more information.
The ANGEL
TREE CHRISTMAS MINISTRYis
an outreach program that has become a holiday tradition at Saint
Paul's. It ministers to needy children in our church neighborhood
by providing holiday gifts to these children. Saint Paul’s
is always generous in providing and delivering wrapped Christmas gifts
for these children. Contact Kim Butler or Amanda Polgase for more
information.
MASTER'S TABLE (SOUP KITCHEN)
Saint Paul’s volunteers prepare and serve hot meals to needy and
homeless people six times during the year. We also contribute
financially to this ministry. Contact Catherine Boardman or John
Clemens for more information.
The MANNA PANTRY
is ministry that provides a box of food and supplies to 120 needy
families four times a year. Volunteers help unload the truck and count
food goods on the Friday afternoon before the Manna Pantry distribution
and distribute the food to pre-ticketed needy families the next
morning. Contact Wendell Tanner or for more information.
DOWNTOWN COOPERATIVE CHURCH MINISTRIES (DCCM)
This ministry distributes food to the needy each day Monday through
Friday. DCCM is an interdenominational organization made up of 14
downtown churches. DCCM serves over 12,000 individuals, representing
over 9000 families. Every other week a family receives a bag of
groceries. We have representation on the Board of directors and seek
volunteers to help distribute the food. We also contribute financially
to this ministry. Contact Rex Teeslink or Linda Weatherred for more
information.
OVERSEAS

Roses is to provide a wholesome Christian home to abused and abandoned
girls. The home educates the girls and supports them until they can
live independently. Many of them go on to college and become
professionals in their country. We also provide a sponsorship for one
