Membership

All are welcome.

All are welcome at Saint Paul’s.  No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, and no matter where you are on the journey of life we hope that you will join us.  Saint Paul’s Church is home to many people who are members and many who are not.  Regardless of your formal membership status, we hope you and your family will get to know us better, and become active participants in the life of our parish.

Please complete a welcome card found in the pews or available from the ushers so that we may contact you.

The information below provides guidelines for those wishing to make a formal commitment of membership.

For those who are members of another Episcopal Church:
Membership at another Episcopal Church can be transferred by contacting the Parish Office with the following information:  name of former Parish, mailing address and phone number or website address.

For those who are members of another denomination:
All baptized people are members of the Body of Christ, regardless of the denomination or congregation in which they were baptized.  If you were baptized in another Church (either another Episcopal Church or another Christian Church), and you transfer the record of that baptism to us, you become a member of Saint Paul’s.  To transfer your baptism records, contact the parish office with the following information:  name of church and denomination, date of baptism, and contact information for the church.

We encourage you to continue your faith journey through Confirmation, which is our ceremony for an adult profession of faith.  Confirmation classes are offered to prepare candidates for this sacrament and are open to anyone who is interested in joining the Episcopal Church or simply interested in knowing more about the Episcopal faith.

If you were confirmed in another denomination, you may also be received by the Bishop when you decide to continue your faith journey with the Episcopal Church.

If you have not yet been baptized, confirmed, or made an adult profession of faith, contact one of the clergy for more information.
